Bet Journal vs PuntWise: slip scanning without paying extra
Bet Journal charges extra for screenshot logging: Magic Upload needs Pro or a separate purchase. It is iPhone only, and it is built around analytics like closing-line value, streaks and filters, which is a lot of dashboard when you just want to know if you are up. PuntWise is Aussie made for Aussie punters, and slip scanning is how the free plan works.

FAQ
Is PuntWise a good Bet Journal alternative?
Yes. PuntWise is Aussie made for Aussie punters, reads Sportsbet, TAB and Ladbrokes slips on the free plan, and runs on Android as well as iPhone.
Does PuntWise track CLV?
No, on purpose. Closing-line value measures whether you beat the final price, which matters to professional bettors. Most punters want to know if they are up, by how much, and where, so that is what PuntWise shows.
Is PuntWise free?
Yes. The free plan logs up to 5 bets a day, slip scanning included. Premium removes the cap and adds multiple bankrolls.
